Who wouldn't have fun at a speakeasy that's designed like an old pirates ship? This was a fun night for us to surprise my aunt for her birthday, and we are not big drinkers. I won't give it away too much but you may have a hard time finding the entrance. Hint: It looks like a travel agency. Once inside you'll be transported to 1650 during the pirates era. The food was good. I will say they only serve appetizers for the most part but you can fill up on them and have plenty of fancy alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. We left full. The place is pretty intimate. You can dress up or down. Lights are low so it can also be a romantic date spot. The lot has some spaces for free, and some you must pay. Our only complaint was service was a little slow. We had to keep asking for plates and silverware, but they were super nice about it. They sang happy birthday to my aunt and I won Neice of the year! Next time we will try the other speakeasy next door. They were really partying in there.

What a cool speakeasy. Enter through a fake freezer door to beautiful captains ship bar. Our bartender was phenomenal and made the best espresso martini I've had in a long time. The Sazerac was also very good.

Ambiance is 5+ stars! You feel like your on a pirate ship and every detail down to octopus purse hooks is done. Drinks have an odd aftertaste. Food names don't match the food but do not sleep on the caviar! Amazing presentation, delicious and good price point. Pro tip you get a free drink on your next visit with purchase of the caviar. Service fabulous.

This is a sister speakeasy to the Grass Skirt. My boyfriend and I came right after The Grass Skirt for a few more drinks. We made a reservation online and it was easy peasy. We asked the waitress if she could show us where to go and she sat us immediately at the bar. The bar is right in the middle of the restaurant, dim lighting, super fun decor that makes you really feel like you're on a boat. Our bartenders were seriously the best! I didn't see anything I wanted on the menu so I got the dealer's choice and he made my drink perfectly! Food and drink review: Chicken tenders: (5/5) These were bomb. The dipping sauce was super tasty. I'd definitely get these again. Dealer's choice: (5/5) I asked for something refreshing and sweet with tequila and the bartender definitely delivered. La Vela: (5/5) This is as a mezcal drink, it was very good and refreshing!
